Switch Your Accounts to Members 1st Credit Union

Gather key information and print out the necessary documents to notify others of your account change.

What is Needed?

  • You will need your Members 1st Credit Union account number. If you do not have an account with Members 1st Credit Union, please visit a local branch to open your account.
  • You will need your previous financial institutions information to close your old accounts. The information you will need is:
    • Account number
    • Financial institution address
  • You will need information regarding Direct Deposits being deposited into your old accounts. Direct Deposits include payroll, taxes, and/or retirement. Social Security customers can not use this form and must call the Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 or go to www.ssa.gov. Military personnel must visit myPay. Federal employees must visit their employer or can complete the following form and have a credit union representative submit the form to your federal employer.
    • You will need the address of the company making the Direct Deposit into your Members 1st Credit Union account.
  • You will need information regarding electronic withdrawals being made from your old account. Electronic withdrawals include utilities, phone bills, cable bills, and /or rent/mortgage
    • You will need the account number of the company
    • You will need the address of the company
  • If you used an online bill pay program at your previous financial institution, make sure to cancel each payee and add them to your Members 1st online bill pay service. For more information about Members 1st bill pay, Click Here.
